Curry Chicken Casserole

4 cups chicken - chopped up not too small
20 ounces package frozen broccoli OR
2 bunches fresh broccoli
1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
20 ounces cream of chicken soup
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cheddar cheese -- grated
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon melted butter

Preparation / Directions:

Use cooked chicken (or better yet cook some up fresh). Place cooked broccoli and then chopped chicken in a large casserole. Mix together soup, mayonnaise, curry powder, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Pour over the chicken and top with cheese. Toss bread crumbs in melted butter and sprinkle over the top. Bake uncovered for 35 minutes at 325F.
