Crock-Pot Hot Buttered Rum

1/2 gallon apple cider
3 Tablespoon butter
8 Whole cinnamon sticks or cinnamon spice to taste
1 Whole box of cloves
2 Large lemons
1 teaspoon touch of nutmeg
1 Cup spiced rum

Preparation / Directions:

Pour apple cider into crock-pot. Add solid butter, cinnamon sticks, nutmeg and 1 lemon (cut in half) into pot. Let simmer until steaming. Cut 2nd lemon into wheels and place 5 to 6 cloves into each wheel. Place in cider mixture and take out old lemon halves. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Serve with spiced rum to taste per cup. Garnish with lemon twist or cinnamon stick.
