Crock Pot Baked Navy Beans

Ingredients:

2 Pounds dry navy beans
1 Small onion -- chopped
1 Cup ketchup
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Cup water*
2 Teaspoons mustard
3 Tablespoons molasses
1 Tablespoon salt
8 Slices Bacon ( To 10 Slices) -- fried crisp
 

Preparation / Directions:

*add water as needed Put beans in three times the volume of unsalted water, bring to a boil and let simmer for 30 minutes. Let stand in covered hot water for 2 hours. Mix other ingredients in bowl. Drain beans well and mix all ingredients and beans together. Put in crock pot and let cook on low for 12 hours. Stir occasionally.
