Doubly Chocolate Mint Cookies

7 ounces HERSHEYS Cookies n Mint Milk Chocolate Bar 1 bar
1/2 cup buffer or margarine softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup Cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup nuts coarsely chopped (optional)

Preparation / Directions:

Heat oven to 350'F. Cut chocolate bar into small pieces. In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Blend into butter mixture. Stir in chocolate and nuts, if desired. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until set. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack.
