Walnut Sour Cream Jumbles

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine -- softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon mace
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1 cup chopped diamond walnuts

Preparation / Directions:

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream butter with sugar, egg, vanilla and mace. Blend in flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in walnuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, allowing foom for spreading. Bake above oven center at 375 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned very lightly. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes about 24 cookies.
