Ingredients:


1/2 cup margarine

1 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/2 cups plain flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup nuts -- pecans or walnuts, -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix margarine, sugar, 1 egg, flour and baking powder. Spread in a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle 1 c. nuts over batter. Beat egg white from remaining egg till stiff. Add 1 cup brown sugar. Spread over batter and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 min. Cut into squares while hot.
