Holiday Spice Cookies

Ingredients:


1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/4 cup vegetable shortening

1 cup light brown sugar

1 large egg

1/4 cup light molasses

2 cups flour

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cream butter, shortening, and sugar together add eggs and molasses-beat to mix well sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and spices add to sugar mixture-mix well mold into 3/4-inch balls place onto a parchment-lined baking sheet flatten with a spatula bake @ 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes, until golden remove to cool serve at room temperature
