4 cups cookie mix
2 teaspoons ginger
1/4 cup grandmas molasses
1 large egg

Preparation / Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In large bowl, combine all ingredients at low speed until well blended and dough forms.* On well floured surface, roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness; cut with floured cutter. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 to 15 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Decorate as desired. 3 1/2 dozen (2 inch) cookies. TIP: * Chill dough for 1 hour for easier handling, if desired. HIGH ALTITUDE: Above 3500 feet: Add 4 tablespoons flour to the 4 cups cookie mix.
