Ginger Cookies From Cookie Mix

Ingredients:

2 cups basic cookie mix
1 large egg -- unbeaten
1 tablespoon dark molasses
4 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
 

Preparation / Directions:

Combine all ingredients until well blended. Drop prepared cookie dough by teaspoonfuls, approximately 2 inches apart, on well-greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350 oven 12 to 15 minutes. Remove with spatula to cooling rack. Because of molasses, these cookies tend to stick, so make certain cookie sheet is very well greased. Makes approx. 40 cookies.
