Preparation / Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375'F. Lightly grease 2 large cookie sheets; set aside.
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add the eggs, baking soda, vanilla and salt; heat until incorporated. Mix in the flour at low speed until blended. Stir in the chocolate and nuts.
Drop the dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until golden. Let cool for 1 minute on the sheets, then transfer with a spatula to racks to cool completel
