Brussel Sprouts With Mustard

Ingredients:

4 cups brussel sprouts
5 cups water -- salted
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons coarse-grained mustard
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:

Carefully wash the sprouts, trim them stems, and cut an X into the bottom of each with a sharp knife. Bring salted water to a boil and drop in sprouts. Boil about 15 minutes, until fork-tender. Drain well. Melt the butter in a large skillet and stir in the mustard and pepper. Add the sprouts and toss to coat well. Add more salt and pepper, if desired.
