Lemon Pepper Cole Slaw

1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 medium green onions -- chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1/2 medium green cabbage

Preparation / Directions:

In a large serving bowl, mix together all ingredients except the cabbage. Slice the cabbage into thin shreds. Add the cabbage to the dressing in the bowl and toss thoroughly to mix. Chill for 5 minutes before serving.
