1 cup milk
1 cup light cream
2 large egg yolks
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 dash ground nutmeg
2 cups double strength coffee
1/2 cup whipped cream
1 Teaspoon ground nutmeg

Preparation / Directions:

Combine milk and cream in medium saucepan. Beat together egg yolks, sugar and nutmeg. Add to milk mixture. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture coats a metal spoon. (Do not boil). Whisk coffee into milk mixture. Serve very hot, topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg.
