Quick cobbler with canned peaches - ready in less than an hour.


1 Cup white sugar
1/2 Cup butter room temperature
1 Cup flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Cup milk
15 ounces peaches

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together sugar and butter. Mix in flour, baking powder, salt and milk until smooth. Poor into greased 9x9 baking dish. Pour peaches and their juice over the top (do not mix). Bake 40-45 minutes in preheated oven until golden brown.
