Mango Chutney 2

Ingredients:

1 medium apple -- peeled and diced
2 medium mangos -- peeled and diced
1/2 cup white raisins or sultanas
1/4 cup dried currants
1 dash nutmeg
1 dash cinnamon
1 dash allspice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup orange juice
 

Preparation / Directions:

1. Mix apple, mango and dry ingredients together in a bowl. 2. Heat water and orange juice in a sauce pan over medium heat until steaming. 3. Add chutney mixture and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes. 4. Cover and simmer to desired thickness. 5. Allow to cool and pour into airtight jars for storage and gift-giving.
