Hot Apple Chutney

Ingredients:


12 cups apple

3 cups seedless raisins

3 cups dates

3 cups sugar

4 cups apple cider vinegar

3 teaspoons kosher salt

1/4 cup candied ginger

1 teaspoon red hot chile
 

Preparation / Directions:


combine ingredients in a crock cover and allow to stand at room temperature for 48 hours transfer to a saucepot, over a moderate flame bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until apples fall apart remove from heat, cool process into canning jars or cover and chill for up to 4 days serve at room temperature
