Mommom\'s Chicken and Dumplings

the best and easiest chicken and dumplings youll ever have
 

Ingredients:

1 large chicken parts or whole chicken
1 Cup biscuick
1 Cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:

boil chicken parts or whole chicken in a large pot, half full of water for about 3-4 hours until the chicken is falling off the bone. When chicken is done, take the chicken out and set aside. Strain the water and put it back in the pot. Separate all the chicken from the bones and set aside. Turn the stove back on preparing for the water to boil again. As you do this prepare your biscuick as you would biscuits except you will make drop buscuits instead of rolling out your dough. Make your drop biscuits as big as a small baseball or smaller if you\\\'d like. Do not prepare them before hand because you want to drop them in immediately when water boils or the dough will not rise properly. The dough also acts as a thickener for your water as well. Once your dumplins are done add your chicken into the mix and salt and pepper as desired. Then serve.
