1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon salad oil
1 clove garlic
4 pieces chicken legs with thighs attached
1/4 cup wheat germ or fine dry bread crumbs
2 tablespoons fine dry breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika

Preparation / Directions:

Combine soy sauce, salad oil and garlic in a small bowl. Remove skin from chicken and arrange in single layer in a shallow baking dish. Pour soy mixture over chicken, turn chicken to coat all sides, and let stand for about 10 minutes, turning once or twice. Meanwhile, mix together wheat germ, bread crumbs, sesame seed, parsley, pepper and paprika. Lift chicken from marinade, drain, then turn over in wheat germ mixture to evenly coat all sides; shake off excess. Arrange coated chicken on a well greased rimmed baking sheet. Bake uncovered, in a gas oven at 350 degrees F. for about one hour, or until thigh meat near bone is no longer pink when slashed.
