Ingredients:


4 cups Plain yogurt

1 teaspoon Salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


This cheese is very close to the consistency of cream cheese, but has. Line 6-inch strainer with paper coffee filter or double thickness cheeseclo Place strainer over bowl. Mix ingredients. Pour into strainer. C strainer and bowl. Refrigerate at least 12 hours.Unmold onto plate. Garnish with freshly ground peppers if desired. You can use a coeur a la creme mold to make an attractive heart-shaped cheese. Because these molds have fewer drainage holes than a strainer, refrigerate the shaped cheese for at least 24 hours, draining off the liquid (whey) occasionally. Serve with crackers and vegetable slices.
