Ingredients:


3/4 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup white sugar

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup pecans
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook the milk and sugar over a low fire till it reaches the soft ball stage {238ΓΈ}. Remove from heat and add the butter, and vanilla. Beat mixture with a wooden spoon until it is smooth and creamy. Stir in pecans. Drop by spoonsful onto waxed paper to harden.
