Pecan Meltaways

Ingredients:

1 Cup butter or margarine -- softened
1/2 Cup confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 Cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 Cup finely chopped pecans
1 package Additional confectioners sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla; mix well. 2. Combine the flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. 3. Stir in pecans. Chill. 4. Roll into 1-in. balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. 6. Roll in confectioners sugar while warm. 7. Cool; roll in sugar again.
