Preparation / Directions:
1. In a 2 quart saucepan mix evaporated milk, sugar and butter or margarine. 2. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture boils and is bubbly all over top. Boil and stir over medium heat 2 minutes more. Remove from heat. 3. Stir in vanilla and chocolate until melted. Mix in corn flakes, coconut, and nuts. Drop quickly from a tablespoon onto waxed paper. Let stand until set. Makes about 24.
BUTTERSCOTCH MACAROONS: Use 6 ounces nestle's butterscotch morsels in place of chocolate morsel
