Dried Fruit Candy

Ingredients:


1/2 pound pitted dates

1 pound dried figs

1 pound dried apricots

1 cup seedless raisins

2 cups walnuts

1 teaspoon orange rind -- grated

1/2 cup unsweetened flaked coconut
 

Preparation / Directions:


Makes about 4 lb. candy 1. Put all ingredients except coconut in food grinder or processor; process until well mixed. 2. Press into buttered 8-inch square baking dish; chill well. 3. Cut into squares and roll in coconut. Store in airtight tins.
