3 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water

Preparation / Directions:

Cook ingredients on medium heat. To test, remove from heat and periodically dip a large spoon into the hot ingredients and when visible threads are formed, remove from heat. Cool slightly so you can work with it with your hands. Butter your hands and scoop up small amounts to pull until candy is white. Stretch candy out into a rope and cut off pieces to the size you desire.
