2 cups sugar
1/2 cup white Karo
1 cup whipping cream
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole pecans
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Preparation / Directions:

Mix together sugar, white Karo, and whipping cream and cook, stirring constantly with wooden spoon. Cook until soft ball stage (238 degrees). Remove from heat and add salt, pecans, vanilla, and butter or margarine. Beat until glossy and holds shape. Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper.
