Preparation / Directions:
1. Put chocolate and evaporated milk into a heavy 3 quart saucepan. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts completely. Remove from heat. 2. Add vanilla and salt. Beat in, a cup at a time, until well mixed the powdered sugar. Chill mixture until firm enough to shape, about 1 hour. 3. Put half of the chilled mixture between sheets of waxed paper and shape into a log, about 10 inches long. Repeat for rest of mixture. 4. Roll logs in nuts or coconut until coated. Wrap in waxed paper and chill. Makes two 10 inch logs. With sharp knife, slice each into about 24 pieces.
