1 package vanilla wafers -- crushed
3/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup toasted pecans -- chopped
4 large eggs -- separated
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup hot water
1 tablespoon vanilla flavoring

Preparation / Directions:

Mix and beat together the margarine, sugar and egg yolks. Mix cocoa in hot water and add to sugar mixture. Add vanilla and mix well. Whip egg whites and fold into mixture. Mix vanilla wafers and nuts. Add cocoa mixture to wafers and nuts. Put in dish and freeze. Thaw out a few minutes before serving. Good served with ice cream, whipped cream or Cool Whip.
