Twinkie Cake

Ingredients:

1 package Twinkies
2 pints strawberries
3 large bananas -- sliced
1 package vanilla instant pudding
9 ounces cool whip
1/4 cup nuts -- (optional)
 

Preparation / Directions:

Split 9 Twinkies in half lengthwise; layer bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan, cream side facing up. Cut up strawberries and bananas; layer pieces across Twinkies.

Make pudding as directed minus 1 c. milk. Pour pudding on top of fruit. Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or decorate with fruit. Put in refrigerator for 3 hours. Best when made and eaten the same day. Great for summer!
