Pound Cake

Ingredients:


1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

3 large eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups plain or all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

---Chocolate walnut filling

1/2 cup semi-sweet mini-morsel chocolate chips

6 Tablespoons Nestles Quick chocolate powder

6 Tablespoons finely chopped walnuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Beat together the first 5 ingredients until well blended. Beat in the next 3 ingredients until nicely blended about 30 seconds. Spoon half of the batter into a greased 10 inch tube pan. Sprinkle with the Chocolate Walnut filling. Top with the remaining batter. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. allow to cool in the pan. when cool remove from the pan and sprinkle the top with powdered sugar.
