Ingredients:

---Cake Batter
2 sticks oleo -- melted
1/3 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 can coconut
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
4 large eggs -- beaten
1 1/2 cups pecans -- chopped.
---Mississippi Mud Icing
1 package miniature marshmallows
1 stick oleo
1/3 Cup cocoa
1/4 Cup milk
1/2 package powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla.
 

Preparation / Directions:

I. Put all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl, stirring after each addition to mix well. II. Add the melted butter and stir to mix well. III. Pour batter into a greased and lightly floured 9x12 baking pan and bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Mississippi Mud Icing I. Cover HOT cake immediately with miniature marshmallows and let them melt. II. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over the melted marshmallows and swirl to make the icing look like mud. III. Let the cake cool completely, and cut into squares and serve.
