Ginger Cake With Summer Fruit Sauce

28 ounces gingerbread mix -- (2 14-ounce packages)
1 1/2 cups water
6 medium fresh california peach -- chopped (about 4 cups)
3 ounces light cream cheese -- (neufchatel), softened
1 jar summer fruit sauce

Preparation / Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Grease two 9-inch round or square pans. 3. In medium bowl, combine gingerbread mixes with water. Stir in peaches. Pour into pans. 4. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pans; cool on wire racks. 5. Spread one cake layer with cheese. Place second cake layer on top. Spoon warm Summer Fruit Sauce over each serving.
