1 1/2 Cup sugar
2 large eggs
3/4 Cup crisco
3 Cup self-risisng flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 Cup milk
1 teaspoon maple-walnut flavoring
3 medium apples sliced but not to thin
1 Cup cinnamom and sugar
1 Cup chopped walnuts

Preparation / Directions:

Heat oven to 350 degree. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch pan. Mix sugar, eggs and crisco until creamy. Add flour, salt and milk; mix. Add maple flavoring and walnuts. Pour into pan. Place apples in rows, slanting up. Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over top. Bake for 45 minutes.
