Apple Pie Cake

18 1/4 ounces yellow cake mix
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 large egg whites -- whipped
20 ounces apple pie filling
1 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 Cup margarine -- cold
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
1/2 Cup unbleached flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven at 350. Prepare a 13 x 9" pan with cooking spray and flour. To prepare batter, combine cake mix and baking powder in a small mixing bowl. In another mixing bowl, combine egg whites, apple pie filling, oil, cinnamon, lemon extract, and nutmeg. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan. Meanwhile, to prepare topping, combine margarine, sugar, flour, and cinnamon in another mixing bowl. Blend with a pantry blender to make crumbs. Sprinkle the crumbs over top of batter. Bake 35 minutes.
