Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing

2 tablespoons olive oil - or vegetable oil
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lime juice - fresh -- (or lemon juice)
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/4 cup sour cream - or plain yogurt
4 ounces blue cheese - in small pieces
1 teaspoon salt - to taste
1 teaspoon Louisiana hot sauce - to taste -- (or cayenne pepper)

Preparation / Directions:

In a small mixing bowl, beat together the oil and mayonnaise until completely blended. Add the lime juice and beat some more. Then add the vinegar and beat again. Add the sour cream, blue cheese, salt, and hot sauce, and stir well. Serve over your favorite salad. This will keep in the refrigerator several weeks.
