Ingredients:

1 1/4 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup unsalted butter

3 ounces unsweetened chocolate -- finely chopped

3 large eggs

1 1/3 cups packed brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

6 tablespoons half and half

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13x2-inch baking pan. In small bowl, sift 1 cup of the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. In medium saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over very low heat, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly. In large bowl, combine eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla. Whisk to blend. Stir in melted chocolate mixture. Gradually add flour mixture and stir until blended. Pour into prepared pan. In medium bowl, with electric mixer, combine peanut butter, sugar, cinnamon, half and half, and remaining 1 tablespoon flour. Mixture will be stiff. Drop mixture randomly, by spoonfuls, on top of brownie mixture. Drag knife through peanut butter mixture all over surface, almost touching bottom of pan, to marbleize brownies. Bake about 25 minutes, until firm when touched lightly. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
