Mom's Refrigerator Rolls

Easy to make rolls, delicious light rolls
 

Ingredients:


2 packages yeast

1/2 Cup warm water

2/3 Cup margarine

2/3 Cup white sugar

1 1/2 Cup Hot water

2 large beaten eggs

6 Cup flour

1 teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix 2 packages of yeast with 1/2 Cup warm water. Set aside. Cream together: 2/3 Cup margarine and 2/3 Cup white sugar. Add: 1-1/2 C Hot water to margarine, sugar mixture. Let cool. Add this mixture to the yeast mixture. Add 2 beaten eggs 6 Cup flour 1 teaspoon salt I use a dutch oven to mix the ingredients in with a cover. Mix with a spoon and then let it rise with the lid on. Punch down and cover with lid and put it in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, punch down and cut into 3 parts, while in the pan. Roll each part out like a pit; then cut each circle into 16 wedges. Roll up each roll starting from large end. Place on a greased cookie sheets. Let rolls rise and then bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with butter. These are my mom's recipe and they are the best! You can also use this recipe for cinnamon rolls
