Ingredients:


4 Cups flour

3 Teaspoons baking powder

1 Dash salt

1 1/2 Cups shortening

1 Cup hot water
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add hot water just until you get a dry, slightly sticky dough. Knead until smooth and elastic. Let set for at least half an hour. Roll out into thin 8" or so circles and cook on hot griddle for a couple minutes each side. Keep warm.
