Preparation / Directions:
1.Scald milk; add sugar; cool to lukewarm. 2. Dissolve yeast in warm milk (if you use packages, dissolve in warm water) and let stand 5 minutes. 3. Add 3 cups flour, beat vigor- ously, then add salt and eggs. Beat well again. 4. Add melted shortening. When well blended, gradually add remaining flour. 5. When stiff, turn out onto floured board and knead. Return to oiled bowl to rise until doubled in bulk. 6. Punch down; let rise again. Knead before shaping into desired type of rolls. 7. Bak at 35O~ for 15 minutes.
