Orange Wheat Bread

Ingredients:


2 cups total cereal -- slightly crushed

1 3/4 cups gold medal all purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1/3 cup vegetable oil

1 tablespoon grated orange peel

2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 large egg

1/2 cup chopped nuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Beat all ingredients except nuts in large bowl on medium speed 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Stir in nuts. Pour into pan. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool completely before slicing. Makes 1 loaf.
