Orange Nut Bread

Ingredients:

2 1/2 Cup sifted flour
1 tablespoons baking powder
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts
1 Cup milk
2 large beaten eggs
1/2 Cup orange marmalade
2 tablespoons melted shortening
 

Preparation / Directions:

Mix and sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add nuts. Add milk and eggs and stir lightly so as to moisten. Stir in marmalade. Pour in well-greased 9x5x3-inch baking pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 F) about 1 hour.
