Preparation / Directions:
Heat milk in pan and let cool. Heat butter in pan and let cool. Put a little milk (cooled to lukewarm) with yeast in cup. Then add milk and butter. Beat egg yolks and sugar together. Add milk and butter. Add yeast. Add salt to flour in bowl. Stir into mixture. Add a little flour , if sticky. Roll until soft on board. Turn bowl upside down and let rest. Make filling. 1 cup of filling per roll. Roll out dough, thin, spread filling on dough, roll as for jelly roll, tuck under ends. Brush with beaten egg yolk, mixed with a bit of water before baking, or egg white and water after baking. Bake 350F for 45 minutes.
