1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1/4 cup mined onions
2 medium jalapenos -- minced
2 large eggs -- beaten
1/2 cup milk

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat the oil deep enough in a heavy pan or fryer. Combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, hot sauce, onions and jalapenos. Stir in the eggs and milk. Measure 1Tbsp of the batter and fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on papertowels.
