Holiday Cheese Roll

6 ounces velveeta or similar cheese
8 ounces cream cheese -- softened
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 can chopped green chilies -- (4 oz), drained
1 jar chopped pimento -- (2 oz), drained

Preparation / Directions:

Roll softened cheese between sheets of wax paper to form a 1/4 inch rectangle. Remove top wax paper. Spread cheese surface with softened cream cheese. Sprinkle with pecans, green onions, chillies and pimento. Roll up as for a jelly roll. Cut in half, if desired. Place on serving platter and refrigerate until firm. Place butter knife on platter and serve with crackers (I sometimes us only part of the pimento and chilies).
