Ingredients:

1 package dry active yeast

3 cups bread flour

1 tablespoon gluten

1 tablespoon wheat germ

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 tablespoon margarine

1 1/4 cups warm milk

2/3 cup raisins*

Preparation / Directions:

Add ingredients (all but raisins) in order given. I use a DAK II and use the regular white bread cycle with the dial set at 12:00. I add the raisins when the machine beeps 10 times just before going into its rising cycle. I have also used a mixture of chopped dates and raisins. Yum. Once I added the fruit at the beginning, and there was not really much difference, so if you want to set the timer ahead, the only difference will be that the fruit will be a bit more "blended-in". When I use the turbo cycle, I use instant yeast (2 t. only). My 12 year old son bribes me to make this bread!
