Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounces anisette

1 ounce light rum

Preparation / Directions:

Shake together ingredients. Strain into a cocktail glass. NOTE: Some versions of this drink call for the addition of s touch of lemon juice and sugar, and some for the replacement of part of the anisette with Pernod.
