A delicious and easy variation of this comforting dish.


1 stick BUTTER cut into cubes
1/4 cup FLOUR
2 jars DRIED BEEF (cut into small pieces)
1/2 can CORNED BEEF (a good brand/ I use Libbys)
1/2 cup MILK
1 1/2 cups HEAVY CREAM
8 ounces CREAM CHEESE cut into cubes

Preparation / Directions:

In large skillet: Melt butter over medium high heat. Stir in flour until creamy. Add dried beef and corned beef to skillet. Cook over medium high heat until heated through. Reduce heat to low. Stir in milk and heavy cream. Add cream cheese cubes. Heat over low heat stirring often until cheese melts and mixture is hot. * Serve over english muffins or corn toasties.
