Spicy Short Ribs Geo. Foreman Grill

Ingredients:


4 pounds short ribs well trimmed -- 2 1/2 wide

3/4 cup onion -- chopped coarsely

4 cloves garlic -- quartered

3 medium jalapeno peppers -- seeded and chopped

2 tablespoons all spice

1 tablespoon ginger -- minced

2 tablespoons veg oil

1 teaspoon fresh grated nutmeg

1 teaspoon salt

12 medium fresh bay leaves
 

Preparation / Directions:


In food processor combine onion, garlic, Jalapeno peppers, allspice, ginger, oil, nutmeg and salt. Puree. Put mixture into bowl and lay the short ribs down , dice cut the 2 1/2 in short rib cubes as follows. Cut halfway to bone every 1/2 inch deep. Combine ribs with marinade, cover and marinate 4-5 hour in refrigerator. Preheat grill 5 minutes. place short ribs on grill bone side down. Cook 4-5 minutes, turning three times during cooking time. May take longer than the 4-5 minutes, Brown on all sides.
