Reuben Casserole

Ingredients:

1 can sauerkraut -- 8 oz, drained
1/8 teaspoon caraway seed
1 small tomato -- cut in thin wedges
2 tablespoons thousand island salad dressing
1 package thinly sliced corned beef -- 2 1/2 oz, cut up
1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
1 cup soft rye bread crumbs
1 tablespoon butter -- melted
 

Preparation / Directions:

Place sauerkraut in a 3 cup casserole. Sprinkle with caraway seed. Layer on top tomato, thousand island dressing, corned beef and shredded swiss cheese. Toss bread crumbs and butter together and sprinkle over casserole. Bake in a gas oven at 375 degrees F. for about 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through.
