5 pounds corned beef
2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
1/3 cup brown sugar

Preparation / Directions:

combine beef and water to cover in a stockpot, over a moderate flame bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 2-3 hours, until fork tender remove meat from liquid with a slotted spoon, drain well remove and discard all fat from beef place into a baking pan spread with mustard sprinkle with brown sugar bake @ 350 degrees for 20 minutes, until glossy cut across the grain serve hot or cold, with horseradish, horseradish sauce, or hot mustard to the side
