2 pounds round steak -- cut into 1/2
3 tablespoons oil
1 large onion -- chopped
1 clove garlic
3 tablespoons flour
3 ounces mushrooms -- undrained
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup sour cream
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 medium chopped celery -- for garnish
1 tablespoons chopped chives -- for garnish

Preparation / Directions:

In a large saucepan, heat oil. Add beef. Brown. Add onion and garlic. cook, stirring, until onions are transparent. Add flour, stirring until beef cubes are coated. Add mushrooms with juice and celery. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour over meat. Toss well. Remove from heat. Turn mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole dish.Cover. Bake at 325 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender. Sprinkle with chopped celery and chives.
